At the beginning of 2025 I decided to take a month out of writing novellas to fulfil a long term ambition and create a table-top game. Over a year later, it’s been too much fun to go back to writing. It required:
» Creating a game system
» Designing a visual language
» Creating a design system
» Assembling a prototype
» Recruiting user testers
The game was designed in Figma, and image assets were created and imported from Photoshop.
AI was used for character art illustration.
The game has been tested over a period of 12 months with three test groups and is still being iterated on.
